All are invited but only 56 will be able to attend the bus trip sponsored by SKD Parish to see the world renowned exhibit of the Shroud of Turin on March 31st. Currently the Exhibit is at the Saint John Paull II Shrine located in Washington, D.C. Half the day will be spent here and the other half of the day will be spent at the National Shrine the Immaculate Conception located nearby.
7:30 AM – Depart from SKD lower-level parking lot
- Comfort stop
10:15 AM – Arrive at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine
- Pray the Jubilee Prayer in the St. John Paul II Chapel
- Self-tour of the Shroud of Turin Exhibit
- Visit the other Shrine exhibits and Gift Shop
11:45 AM – Depart for the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
Noon – Arrive at the Basilica
- Pray the Jubilee Prayer in the lower-level Crypt Church
- Brown-bag lunch in the cafeteria provided by pilgrims
- 1 PM – Group A – One-hour tour of the Basilica
- 2 PM – Group B – One-hour tour of the Basilica
- Self-tour of the Basilica, Gift Shop and Book Store when not touring with your group
3:15 PM – Depart for Mechanicsburg
5:30 PM – Arrival at lower-level parking lot at SKD
